Lyrics:
Mama Don't Let Your Cowboys Ride Segways
Killer sold our future
Sell it in our living rooms
Push for war
You wouldn't fight
"Wring your bread from the sweat of other men's faces"
Needless
Bring them on
Ken Lay the Babysitter
Please tell me how greed makes good
And just how might makes right
And how status quo
Is the best we can hope for
California
Is this what we elected?
California
Is this what we deserve?
California
Is this what we kill for?
Is this what we die for?
Pursuit of greed was always wrong
Loyalty is for people not corporations
You'll get enough to keep you seated
Freedoms not free on the backs of labor
When Imminent Terrorism Threat Memo Titles are too Vague
Blame someone else
Just never apologize
Never think people
Question your loyalties
This ... is ... no ... game ...
We have no leadership
Walking Away
Break
My inside
Memories last
Longer than scars
Sometimes when you walk away
Its not always for the right reasons
You're then left with
What you could have done
Surely takes
A better man to walk away
As long as its for
The right reasons
Sometimes you can't just walk

Errata:
Mama Don't Let Your Cowboys Ride Segways
0:00 I had a lot of trouble with guitar syncronization here. Hearing Hendrik's kit in a studio was vastly different than practice. -AD
0:48 The static sound is actually the lyric sheet hitting the mic. Yes, I still hadn't memorized the lyrics completely by recording time. -AD
1:20 Hendrik was supposed to start the double bass here. Since its messed up on the recording, he just made that part of the song permanantly. -AD
Ken Lay the Babysitter
0:00 This version was actually a "we will use it if we have too much trouble recording a better take". We recorded a better take but Bossier accidently gave us this one when we were doing extra recording. -AD
1:13 Mike and Hendrik had so much trouble with their backups here. I can't for the life of me understand why. This is documented in the extra tracks. -AD
1:26 I went flat to see if I was flat or sharp on my second vocal track. The thinking being I would do another take with the correct pitch. I was too lazy to do another take. I really wish I had. -AD
When Imminent Terrorism Threat Memo Titles are too Vague
0:08 Hendrik kept wanting to do extra measures of the previous beat. Documented in the extras. -AD
0:26 How could both of my guitar tracks miss the exact harmonic at exactly the same time? -AD
0:42 There was such a difference between Hendrik's and Mike's voice levels that Hendrik stood about 3 feet away while Mike was almost on top of the mic. They didn't use a handheld while I did. -AD
1:52 I was way off on these silences. Take after take. Bossier cleaned them up really well. -AD
Walking Away
0:00 The recording was done in 2 days, and this was the only song where I recorded vocals on the first day. My voice sounds different here than on other tracks. -AD
1:09 Whoops, not the correct lyric. -AD
1:39 Mike is a little off ;) -AD
1:50 There too ;) -AD
2:05 Wait, I did a second vocal track on the second day. -AD
3:09 One vocal track is longer. -AD
Kurt Cobain Slept on Mike's Uncle's Couch
0:24 I had so much trouble with the vocals here. I wanted to sing it exactly like Kurt but I sounded awful when I tried. Hendrik and Mike laughed really hard. -AD
0:48 Here I had so much trouble that Bossier was about to cheat and harmonize me. I wouldn't give up and got it. Finally. This was absolutely the most frustrating part of the recording for me. It was rewarding in that I feel I overcame what I disliked about it. -AD
2:34 About 4 or 5 punch-ins later for this vocal part. -AD
